Pebbles strewn at our feet<\/strong><\/span>
\n The distance between us an endless heartbeat<\/strong><\/span>
\n The difference like night<\/strong><\/span>
\n Like day<\/strong><\/span>
\n Like light and darkness<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Like God<\/strong><\/span>
\n Who separates the days<\/strong><\/span>
\n And brings us<\/strong><\/span>
\n Ever and always<\/strong><\/span>
\n To this holy edge<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

To this Shabbat<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Where we stand<\/strong><\/span>
\n Trembling with effort<\/strong><\/span>
\n Weary from a week filled with<\/strong><\/span>
\n Noise and action and movement<\/strong><\/span>
\n Restless and driven<\/strong><\/span>
\n From one moment to the next<\/strong><\/span>
\n Until we are brought to this edge<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

This endless and always edge<\/strong><\/span>
\n To this Shabbat<\/strong><\/span>
\n Sacred and at peace<\/strong><\/span>
\n We pause<\/strong><\/span>
\n We breathe<\/strong><\/span>
\n At rest<\/strong><\/span>
\n Separate<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Together<\/strong><\/span>
\n With God<\/strong><\/span>
\n Together<\/strong><\/span>
\n With one another<\/strong><\/span>
\n In a flooding of gentle light<\/strong><\/span>
\n The rising of the sun<\/strong><\/span>
\n From one breath to the next<\/strong><\/span>
\n One heartbeat<\/strong><\/span>
\n We stand on the edge and cross into the infinite<\/strong><\/span>
\n As one<\/strong><\/span>
\n Into peace<\/strong><\/span>
